Trekking in nepal
Consider the experience and fitness level of your group carefully. We can advise you about difficulties and challenges relative to each route, as well as the scenic and cultural highlights to expect.Give yourself enough time to allow some flexibility in your schedule for acclimatization, a side- trip or extra rest day, if needed.
Remember Nepal may not be just like it is at “home”. That’s one of the reasons most people come here. Savoir the difference and enjoy. Our staffs are knowledgeable and happy to answer your questions about Nepali culture and customs.Pack carefully. Ask about seasonal changes and temperature. Be prepared for cold nights at high altitudes at any time of year. Layered clothing works better than one heavy layer and gives more flexibility for warmth mid-day Good , comfortable boots will be your very useful friends!Try to Keep your daypack as light as possible 8 -10 Kg. Maximum is suggested. Each porter will carry 20-25Kg. Although Dokos ( wicker carrying basket) are more picturesque , we now recommend our clients put their personal gears in a backpack with a good hip-belt to ease the porters load. Packing gears for two clients plus their personal equipment is a useful practice. (An alternative to the above suggestion is the use of a zippered duffel bag).
Respect the environment. The advice to “ Take nothing but photographs. Leave nothing but foot prints remains true. Nepali has suffered environmentally in the past. Help us to change the trend and preserve your beautiful land.
Trekking with baby
Were you thinking about “Is it a good idea to go trekking in the Himalayas with a one-year-old and a two-year-old? The obvious answer to this simple question is “no” to many of us but there is also a “but” I think I will use here because we are here to make this possible in your life..we promise to organise baby-friendly trekking holidays in the world's highest mountains.
You will be trekking in the lower altitude and the most of the way will be through hills but the views of mountains will always be there… We are always serious about it…we take care of both parents and children as well. We send people to carry children and the lagguage..and ofcourse there will be always a guide who know very well about the places to get accomodation and the healthy food.
Annapurna Region Trekking
On the north side from Pokhara, Nepal's spectacular diversity appears at its finest the deep valleys and high mountains encircling the giant Annapurna Himal embrace a wide range of peoples and terrain, from subtropical forest to a high, dry landscape resembling with the Tibetan Plateau. This is the most popular trekking region ever in the world, attracting over 75% of all trekkers. It's also among the tamest areas, with excellent lodges lining the main routes. Finding Nepal beneath the flood of trekkers can be difficult, but the scenery and culture are top-notch,
Interesting and justifiably famous, not only for its proximity to the world's highest mountain, but also for its Sherpa villages and monasteries, the Everest, or Solu Khumbu area is the most popular trekking destination in Nepal.
The primary objective of Everest treks is either the Everest base camp, about 5.340 meters, or Kala Pattar, 5.545 meter on the southern flank of Mt.Pumori (7.161 meters), which provides a glorious view of Everest (8.848 metres).
The Langtang Trek can be easily done in little as a week to two weeks, but day hikes in the upper valley are sure to detain you for another two or three days. It takes about a day to get interesting, first following the continuation of the Dhunche road (a spectacularly destructive feat of engineering, built to reach a lead and zinc mine in the Ganesh Himal) up the unpromising valley of the Trisuli River before leaving the road and rounding a bend to Syabru in the Langtang Valley.
Kanchenjunga Base Camp trek is an ideal trekking route for those with time and desire to venture into some of the remote regions of Nepal. Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world at 8586 meters, and is a magnificent peak standing in the border between Nepal and India. Trekking in Kanchenjunga trail begins along the Tamur River through Pipal trees and villages where traditional life is little touched by the modern world. This includes those of the Limbu people, famous for inventing Tongba (the highland concoction made from fermented millet) and as the mainstays in the British Gorkha Regiments.
Manaslu ( also known as Kutang) is the eighth highest mountain in the world, located in the Mansiri Himal, part of the Nepalese Himalayas. Manaslu is derived from the Sanskrit word Manasa and is translated as "Mountain of the Spirit".
Manaslu is the highest peak in the Gurkha massif and is located about forty miles east of Annapurna, the tenth highest mountain. The mountain's long ridges and valley glaciers offer feasible approaches from all directions, and culminate in a peak that towers steeply above its surrounding landscape, and is a dominant feature when viewed from afar.
Mt. Dhaulagiri is (8167meters) the world's seventh highest peak, rises majestically in isolation above the deep gorge of the Kali Gandaki valley unfolds breathtaking around Dhaulagiri trek at its best. Trekking around Dhaulagiri is one of the challenging adventure treks in Nepal. This round Dhaulagiri trekking follows glaciers and crosses high snowcapped passes, a challenge suited only to fit individuals wishing to go on remote demanding trekking in Nepal.
The name Mustang refers to the arid, Tibet-like region, known to its inhabitants as Lo, at the northern end of the river Kali Gandaki valley. Mustang is probably a Nepali mispronunciation of the name of the capital of Lo, the city of Manthang, the name is pronounced ‘mu-stang’ and has nothing to do with either the automobile or the horse with a similar name . Officially, Mustang is the name of the district along the river kali Gandaki valley from the Tibetan border south to Ghasa. The headquarter of the Mustang district is Jomsom; which is one of the most popular trekking destination amont the trekkers in Annapurna region. • Upper Mustang Trek • Dolpo Trek
