the great adventure company was fantastic!
we traveled the Everest region with Babu & Giri and had a great time. The teahouses were beautiful and the views of the Himalayas were spectacular! The only way to see the mountains is to go trekking. Our guide was great and without him we would miss out on many of the sights and culture of Nepal.

Thank you to The Great Adventure! We had a wonderful time and saw the best of the Himalayas, Mt. Everest was spectacular!

Great Adventure Company is very professional and provided me with an excellent guide, Kamal who made the trip very interesting and enjoyable, he was able to desirable all points of interest and was very good at helping me going because this is not to easy at the points. The food at the lodges was excellent and we are to meet many others nationalities. This is an excellent company to use for treks and i will highly recommended there.

Trek 27th sept.
Lukla - Gokyo Ri - Chola - Kalapatthar - EBC

Our trek started with Ang Dendi Sherpa as our guide and Phunsi Sherpa as our porter, All the planning for the 16 days was prepared smoothly and we set off min confidence in our guide and the Great Adventures company.

Dendi guided us up to Namche Bazar where we stayed for an amortization day. Unfortunately Dendi had a family illness so hold to fly back to kathmandu. he organized for a new guide - Dawa Sherpa

Dawa was also a very good guide, he monitored the conditions to ensure our walk was always safe. we were always given options to walk ln further or rest earlier each day so kept at our capote easily.

The climbs up Gokyo Ri, over Chola pass and Kala patther were challenging with the altitude conditions but very enjoyable and worthwhile. we thoroughly enjoyed as trip, were very pleased that we took a guide porter and impressed with Derdi + Dawas's knowledge of the area both being locally raised was an adventure.

(Annemarie)2, that means both Annemarce and Annemarce have really enjoyed this trekking. we did the Annapurna teahouse trekking and were amazed by the beauty of the nature and villages. the people were really wind and welcomed us to stay in their blouses. Every day was a totally different experience, with other scenarios and different stories. our guide, Rajendra, waqs very fantastic and told us all the information about the culture and nature of Neapl. Even our meals, (Which Rajendra finished within seconds ................) he let us taste the various dishes of Nepal.

In other words together with one guide we experienced the most of Nepal’s beauty and we can definitely recommended Rajendra as guide and the company , we come back again ,

mani organised our permits, flights and car travel from kathamndu to Jiri. we did not take a full organized package nor guide, however the experience and facilitation of Mani was very professional and we recommend the services of ' The Great Adventure Trekking Co. ' to anyone. Having been touted by many so-called trekking experts in the streets of Thamel there is no need to go any further!

Trekking Annapurna Around:

The trekking was well organized by our guide Ravi.
The atmosphere was good also with the porters.
the passing of throng - la was heavy hut Ravi managed it well by resting at the right places.
our group (4 persons) was well satisfied at the end of the trip. We can recommend it.

I have just returned form a 10 day trek to ABC, via Poon hill, and a thoroughly recommend this company + our guide, dhiva. The price was ($380 per person for 11 days) + the trek was beautiful. Ensure that everything is included before land + what you are paying for. Our trip included everything except drinks + Maoist fees.

Shiva, our guide, is very friendly speaks good english . Also, Speared mention to Shree, a director, who explained all about the trek + assisted us with our travel.

From the moment i bumped into D.B. at the airport I felt these guys were a safe bet. I had no previous experience of trekking or Nepal. But Prakash listened to my plans and put together a great trip. The price was very reasonable, and he managed to get me a guide, Dawa Sherpa, who was happy to carry my pack. He was a great guy to walk with for 22 + days, nothing was ever a problem, he always give me bet price for lodging, food, beer + cigarette and other essentials. Whenever I wanted to rest, we rested, when I wanted to push onto the near village, sometimes in the dark, we would. He didn’t complain once. Ever ewhen I suggested we climb Island Peak (6189m.) with no climbing experience, he made it happen, using his own experience and Savoy and contacts,. We got a permit and equipment from chulung , and a second guide, with excellent experience- and up we went . It was the perfect end to a superb trip, huge amount of fun, great exercise, great value. You should use this company, great adventures, they will listen to you and you can trust them on price, knowledge, experience, and general ease + pleasantness to deal with.
